THE SUN BETWEEN YOUR FINGERS

Synopsis

Dario is sixteen. He is a difficult person to deal with, his teachers know something about it. He lives with his mother with whom he communicates little or nothing. After all it is her fault, Dario thinks, if his father abandoned the family when he was just a child. At school, after yet another confrontation, the dean decides to give him an exemplary punishment, and assigns him to the service of assistance to disabled students. That's how Dario meets Andy, immobilized on a wheelchair and unable to communicate with the outside world. Dario and Andy. They could not be more different . Yet, an extraordinary adventure "on the road" will reverse all the schemes.

Excerpt

“It took some time before they could resume the road. Dario let himself fall on the lawn loaded with sunlight at the side of the street and Andy beside him on the grass, with no chair, the chair to the hell for a while. “Come on, to hell the chair, Andy, for a while”, feel a little of real world beneath your skinny ass. Feel the earth, and his scent, and feel the grass with outstretched fingers, and its warm touch, and dense, and yellow, like the sun. You feel it, Andy, huh? You feel the sun between your fingers?"
